A 720 W corded dual action polisher with a 15 mm (0.59 in) throw, six speeds, a 125 mm (4.92 in) backing plate and an 8 m (26 ft) cable, supplied with heavy cut, medium cut and finishing polishes.
Correction is a sequence — cut, polish, finish — and buying a machine without compounds means guessing which one to order. Three graded bottles from the machine’s own maker remove that guess and teach the progression.
Fifteen millimeter throw. It is the general-purpose size, and it is what makes this machine reasonable on a bonnet and still usable on a door mirror.

It sets how far the pad travels per rotation. Around 8 mm (0.31 in) is precise and slow; 15 mm (0.59 in) covers panels quickly while staying controllable; 21 mm (0.83 in) is for large flat surfaces and is unwieldy on a wing mirror.
Three 100 ml bottles are enough to correct a panel or two and to learn the sequence. A full car needs more, and knowing which of the three you actually used is the point of starting with all of them.
