  • Publishes a tolerance — 0.3 bar — which is honest rather than flattering
  • Fill and bleed from one hand, which is how a tire is actually set
  • Needs a compressed air supply — it is not a standalone gauge

Best for: A garage with an air line, where filling and checking happen in the same motion.

What lands on the bench

A compressed-air tire inflator gauge reading 0 to 12 bar with a stated 0.3 bar tolerance, a 400 mm (15.7 in) hose, and a trigger and bleed button for one-handed use.

Why one-handed matters

Setting a tire is fill, check, bleed, check. Doing all four from one handle while the other hand steadies the hose is what makes it quick — and it is why workshop guns are built this way.

The stated tolerance

Three tenths of a bar. It is published, which is more than most inflator guns manage, and it tells you to make the final check with a precision gauge if the figure matters.

The rubber shroud

Trivial-sounding, and the reason the gauge still reads after a year on a workshop floor.

The questions that reach us

Is 0.3 bar a poor tolerance?

It is wider than a good digital gauge and it is stated, which most inflator guns do not do. For setting a tire from an air line it is workable; for a final check, a separate gauge is better.

Can I use it without a compressor?

No. It is designed for a compressed air line with a quick connector. The standalone gauges in this hub are the alternative.
