What lands on the bench

An all-in-one ceramic headlight restoration kit that needs no power tools.

The idea behind it

Rather than polishing a lens to clarity and hoping, apply a coating that both fills and protects. It addresses the failure — a degraded UV layer — directly.

Where the result is decided

In preparation. A coating over a badly prepared lens locks in the marks underneath, and no chemistry fixes that. Take the sanding stage seriously even when the kit is quick.

The realistic expectation

A clear lens that stays clear for a long time, from a job that takes an hour and no machine.

The questions that reach us

Is a ceramic coating better than a UV clear?

It is a different chemistry with the same job: replacing the protective layer. Both work; both depend far more on how well the lens was prepared than on which was used.

Can I really do it without a machine?

The maker states so, and hand application is genuinely viable on a lens. What it cannot do is fix deep sanding marks — so the preparation still has to be right.
