Press or rewind — and an electric parking brake changes the answer · review
The same 22-piece format with both spindles, from a brand that appears across this site — the practical alternative at the same price.
The last word Identical in format to its neighbor. Pick whichever is in stock.
A 22-piece universal rewind set with eighteen adapters and both threaded spindles.
That the adapter engages your piston squarely, and that the caliper is not fighting you. Both are visible in the first quarter-turn.
Open the bleed nipple while pushing or winding the piston back, and catch what comes out. It keeps old fluid out of the ABS block, which is where it does not belong.
Electronic parking brakes retract electronically. This is a mechanical set and it does not change that.

Not obviously. Sets in this class share a format and differ in finish and packaging. Where two are the same price, availability and the case are what remain to choose on.
Little, if it is the right adapter turning the right way. Force is the signal to stop and check both, not to push harder — a scored piston or a torn seal is a caliper replacement.

Basic rewind set · right-hand spindle · left-hand spindle · trade catalog reference
The trade brand’s basic set: both spindles, fewer adapters, and a part number that will still exist when a plate goes missing.
Best for: Someone who values the catalog number over the piece count.
≈ $72
Ratchet function · centered reset without tilting · stated to avoid damage to boots, pistons and cylinders
A single ratcheting tool rather than a kit: it pushes the piston back squarely, which is what prevents the damage a screwdriver causes.
Best for: Front calipers, where the piston presses straight back and squareness is everything.
≈ $53
22 pieces · 18 adapters · right- and left-hand threaded spindles · stated for most passenger cars
Eighteen adapters and both thread directions, which is what a rewind set has to have — rear calipers thread back, and not all of them the same way.
Best for: A first rear pad change on a car with a conventional handbrake.
≈ $20
