What lands on the bench
A 3 t trolley jack with a 75–505 mm (2.95 to 19.9 in) range, TÜV Rheinland and GS certification stated to EN 1494, a Quicklift pump, a German manual and a stated five-year warranty.
Why the paperwork is the review
Every jack here prints a tonnage. Only this one names the standard the tonnage was declared against and the body that tested it. On a tool whose failure mode involves a car, that is not a marketing distinction.
What it does not buy you
Permission to work under a car on the jack alone. Certification describes a new tool used as intended, on level ground, loaded at its designed point. Axle stands are still what holds a vehicle.
The five years
Stated by the maker, and unusually long for this shelf. On a tool used a few times a year for a decade, a warranty is a statement about expected life as much as a promise.

What it does, and what it misses
Strengths
Names EN 1494 and a third-party certification body rather than printing a tonnage alone
Five-year warranty stated — the longest here, on the tool you least want to fail
Same 75–505 mm (2.95 to 19.9 in) range as the jack below it, with the paperwork behind it
Compromises
The most expensive trolley jack in this hub
Certification is a statement about the tool as manufactured, not about your driveway

The questions that reach us
What does EN 1494 certification actually mean?
It is the European standard for mobile jacks and associated lifting equipment. A rating declared against it was established by a defined method with defined safety factors, which is what makes two ratings comparable at all.
Does a GS mark mean more than CE?
CE marking is a manufacturer’s declaration of conformity. GS — geprüfte Sicherheit — involves a third-party test body. On lifting equipment that difference is worth paying for.
