Stix

Publishes the heights, and includes the pads

What they actually do

Lifting: a low-profile trolley jack and a set of four axle stands.

What both listings do well

Publish the heights. The jack states 85 to 365 mm (3.35 to 14.4 in); the stands state 275 to 430 mm (10.8 to 16.9 in) in six steps. Those two figures, taken together, tell you whether the jack lifts high enough for the stands to fit — which is a question most listings leave you to guess.

The details in the box

Two rubber pads, one grooved for a pinch weld, and an SUV adapter on the jack. On the stands, a ratchet plus a chained safety pin and bolted grooved rubber pads.

Why the chained pin is worth mentioning

A safety pin left on a bench is a safety pin that does not get used. Chained to the stand, it is where it is needed.
