Power X-Change spans garden, DIY and workshop tools. If a household already owns two or three of them, the marginal cost of this wrench is the tool alone — which changes the comparison entirely.

It is usually the largest cost over ten years. A battery system shared with a lawnmower, a hedge trimmer and a drill is a genuine economy; a second system in the same garage is a genuine waste.
It stops the anvil when you release the trigger rather than letting it coast. On a fastener being driven into soft material, coasting is where the last quarter-turn of damage happens.
