Five nylon tools, 167 grams, and a glovebox
Tresalto 5 nylon tools, blue, 167 g (5.9 oz)
The lightest set on this shelf, at 167 grams and sized to live in the car.
What you are getting
Five nylon pry tools in multiple shapes, stated for dashboards, door panels and plastic trim and for extracting rivets, fasteners and car clips. 167 g. No case — stated to fit a glove box or toolbox. $8.97.
It is the lightest set on this shelf, and that is the whole proposition
167 grams is the only weight published by any of the twelve sets on this shelf.
| Set | Weight |
|---|
| This set | 167 g (5.9 oz) |
| KEZE | 300 × 25 × 19 mm (11.8 × 0.98 × 0.75 in) packed, no weight |
| Zaviireku | 330 × 229 × 51 mm (13 × 9.02 × 2.01 in) packed, no weight |
| The other nine | nothing |
A hundred and sixty-seven grams is five pieces of molded nylon. There is nothing else in the package — no bag, no box, no clips — and the listing makes that the argument: “The lightweight kit fits easily in your glove box or toolbox, ready for quick access whenever you need to fix, replace, or upgrade car interiors.”
That is a different purchase from a kit on a bench. A trim tool is wanted when a rattle starts or a trim pops loose on a journey, and a set that lives in the car is a set that is there. The KEZE steel set makes the same argument for its tool bag, and the BOJO and GOOACC sets go the other way with hard cases.
Five shapes, which is the minimum the introduction’s list needs
The introduction: “What separates a useful set from a bag of plastic is the shape range — a wide flat wedge for door cards, a narrow fork for clips, a deep hook for door handle surrounds.”
Three shapes named, five tools supplied. “Includes multiple shapes for different applications” is as specific as the listing gets, and no shape is described.
| Set | Plastic levers |
|---|
| Poraxy · Zaviireku | 11 |
| BOJO | 7 |
| Filzada, published | 6 |
| This set · Tresalto red | 5 |
| GOOACC | 4 |
Five is enough for the three the shelf asks for plus two variations. It is also the point below which a set stops covering a car: a door card, a sill trim, a pillar cover and a handle surround are four different edge profiles.
And it is nylon, which is what this shelf wants
“Made from durable nylon, this kit protects your car’s surfaces from scratches while offering strong leverage.”
The line at the top of this shelf: “Nylon, because a screwdriver marks everything it touches.”
“Sturdy yet flexible enough to handle tight angles and edges during disassembly without damaging fragile surfaces” is the second bullet, and the pairing is the right one — the introduction asks for nylon “stiff enough to lever, soft enough to leave no mark on a door card or a piano-black surround”.
What is missing is any measure of it. No stiffness figure is published by any of the twelve sets here, and no grade of nylon either. The Zaviireku kit at least states what its plastic is not — “instead of ordinary PP plastic” — and the GOOACC kit states that its plastic surface has been abraded so it cannot score.
“Universal Clip Tool Set: Includes multiple shapes for different applications; this clip removal tool helps safely extract rivets, fasteners, and car clips without prying metal-to-metal.”
“Without prying metal-to-metal” is the right principle — a steel tool against a steel panel marks both — and what the listing describes is a nylon shape, not a plier.
The introduction asks specifically for “the presence of a clip plier, which pulls a fastener straight out rather than levering it sideways.” Three sets on this shelf have one: Poraxy, Zaviireku and the all-steel KEZE.
A forked nylon tool will lift a clip. It will not grip the head and pull it along its axis, which is the one action that leaves a fir-tree clip reusable — and the BOJO set is the only one here that names that clip at all.
No clips, and no case
No clips, like every American set on this shelf. The buying advice: “some clips are designed to be destroyed on removal, and discovering that with the panel already off is how a job becomes an evening.” The published SXTDKMJ set includes 100.
No case is a deliberate omission here rather than a gap — five loose tools in a glovebox is the product. It does mean the tools rest against each other and against whatever else is in there, and a nylon wedge that has taken a set stops being flat.
And there are two Tresalto sets on this shelf at the same price
| autotrim-parent | P-Trs-Kit-5Red |
|---|
| Price | $8.97 | $8.97 |
| Pieces | 5 | 5 |
| Material | durable nylon | sturdy, pliable nylon |
| Color | blue | red |
| Weight | 167 g (5.9 oz) | not published |
| EAN | 0758330615486 | 0810073290334 |
Same brand, same count, same price, two colors and two separate EANs — which means two registered products rather than one listing with a color option.
What this one publishes that the red one does not is the weight. What the red one publishes that this does not is that its five tools are “job-specific” and that it suits wheel hubs and exterior trim as well as interior.
What is not published
No shapes for any of the five tools. No dimensions — no length, width or thickness, where KEZE publishes a 1–2 mm head and three lengths. No nylon grade or stiffness. No clip plier. No clips. No case. No warranty.
At $8.97 it is the cheapest way onto this shelf, it weighs 167 grams, and the clip plier is a separate purchase.
