Professional hand tools and workshop equipment, sold on design rather than on price.
The two examples here
The drain tray has an internal scale in liters and gallons and a molded, anti-slip rest for the filter. The inflator gauge has a trigger and a bleed button on one handle, a 400 mm (15.7 in) hose and a rubber shroud around the dial.
Why those details are the argument
Both turn a routine job into a slightly better one: you can measure what came out of the engine, and you can set a tire with one hand. Neither is visible in a photograph, and both are the reason the tools cost more.
What they also publish
A tolerance on the gauge — 0.3 bar — which is wider than a digital instrument and stated, where most inflator guns say nothing at all.
